The new Dispatch range offers more choice, more space and more features than ever before. Over 26 models are available to meet the specific requirements of individual trades. Panel Van, Window Van and Platform Cab variants are suited to goods transportation and bodywork conversions, while Combi variants are ideal for transporting people. Two trim levels help customers to further tailor the new Dispatch to their needs.
Loading is now even easier, with increased payload – up to 1200kg – and a 75% larger load volume, up to 7m3. Meanwhile, the loading sill is lower and the side sliding doors on both passenger’s and driver’s sides are 69mm wider. The new Dispatch also combines two wheelbases and body lengths and two roof heights.
Impressive performance is assured with a choice of three new HDi engines, two with a six-speed gearbox. And to keep you safe, a driver’s airbag, ABS and EBA are standard, while passenger, lateral and curtain airbags and ESP (including ERM Electronic Roll Mitigation System and Traction Control) are optional. Now reporting for duty is Citroën’s largest ever van. The new Citroën Relay is uniquely equipped to meet all your needs – whatever the demands of the job. With up to 2-tonnes of payload available, this is 25% greater than its predecessor. There’s a wider choice of useful volumes, combining four lengths with three wheelbases and three body heights. The useful loading volume ranges between 8m3 and a huge 17m3.
There are three, brand-new diesel engines, delivering 26% more power, up to 160hp. The two larger engines have six gears for greater efficiency. In all, there are over 70 new model configurations ready for action satisfying the most specific requirements for your business.
The cavernous load area also is the lowest in its class and helps in loading and unloading operations, with doors that can open to 180 degrees or up to an optional 270 degrees. A completely redesigned rigid structure puts the new Relay among the leaders in its class, for driveability and safety. The New Relay is also secure, and will help protect you and your load from intruders, with automatic door locking and a button on the driver's armrest to lock and unlock the load area independently of the cabin doors.
It is rare to find such a massive range of features and equipment. SmartNav and Trackstar GPS stolen vehicles tracking system comes as standard on panel vans, as does a heat-reflecting windscreen and automatic lights and wipers. Available options include speed limiter, electronic parking assistance with reversing sensors and a colour TV camera at the rear sending images to a front mounted screen, CD player; Bluetooth and MP3.
